The World is Crashing
This project is inspired by an image that I've seen of a digital billboard that crashed displaying what appeared to be an ominous error message in the night sky. Playing off that idea, I wanted to create an image that portrayed that as the truth of a fictional world.
This study was done in an attempt to learn lighting, some modeling, and importation methods.
Tools: Maya, Photoshop
H1 And Bars
This project gave me an opportunity to work with mesh lights and how they affect ambient scenes, utilizing the atmospheric volume modifier.
SCAD
I wanted to attempt to create an image that could be used by SCAD as advertisement material or otherwise. That being said I never submitted it to anybody.
This project allowed me to study lighting, cloners with constraints, and extruding text.
Tools: Cinema 4D
Crystal Skull
This image was inspired by a piece of artwork by Philip Hodas. The original image showcased what appeared to be a glass skull. Inside the skull was a fire and an abstract sphere. I was unable to create something similar so decided to use it as an opportunity to learn something new.
This study was used to learn how to animate objects that have been cloned in a random pattern, and how to create glass materials.
Poke Ball
This project was created for two reasons. Firstly, as a first attempt to recreate an object that didn't exist from television. And the second reason was I wanted to create something that has already been designed and to see how long it would take.
Tic Tac Orange
This project was created as an opportunity to create a branded object as well as an opportunity to further explore using a cloner with constraints.
Tools: Cinema 4D
